MOTTANNI HOSTS IDEAL THEATRE TROUPE'S BAMENDA LAP OF NATIONAL TOUR

This past week, I had the distinct honor of serving as the Official Emcee for the Bamenda lap of Ideal Theatre Troupe Buea's National Tour, an initiative generously sponsored by the Cameroonian Cultural Network (CCN).

The event, held in partnership with Alliance Française Bamenda, was a magnificent showcase of theatrical excellence and cultural storytelling.

A Full-Circle Moment

Hosting this event felt like a full-circle moment. I have personally felt the transformative impact of a CCN-sponsored national tour when my album Bruises traveled across six Cameroonian cities. To now stand as the host, supporting fellow artists as they experience that same level of platform and professional backing, was a profound experience.

The Power of Community

The strength of Bamenda’s creative ecosystem was on full display, thanks to the support of local theatre troupes. We extend our deepest gratitude to:

· Memkemndi Randy's Noble Arts Entertainment Company

· Samson Vugar Vibimi's Royal Jacket Kids

Their presence and support underscored the true spirit of community and collaboration within the performing arts sector in the North West Region.

Thank you to the Ideal Theatre Troupe Buea for trusting me with your stage, and congratulations on a spectacular show. This is what happens when we support one another, and when our cultural institutions invest in our artists.
