Bankers Hangout

We often say, "Money no di make noise"—and it’s true. A bank is meant to be a place of quiet order, where calm reigns and transactions flow smoothly.

But silence on the outside doesn’t mean peace on the inside.

Behind every counter, every office door, and every security post, there’s often a different reality: a rush of thoughts, pressures, and unseen stress. It plays out in the minds of clients, managers, tellers, and guards—a silent symphony of worry, deadlines, and demands that builds day after day.

That’s why finding ways to quiet the mind isn’t just a luxury—it’s essential. For well-being, for clarity, and for the health of both people and the institutions they serve.

Enter Bankers Hangout.

Recently, we had the pleasure of partnering with Lanjo S. Neindefoh’s Lanjo Coaching to create a space where bankers in the North West could truly care for their mental health. And what a space it was!

The room transformed from silent tension to playful engagement—through games, dance, poetry, music, and guided meditation. Bankers learned practical, live skills to release stress, calm under pressure, and reclaim their peace.

By the end of the day, you could feel it: a tangible sense of relief, a lightness in the air, and a quiet joy connecting everyone in the room.

It was an honor to be part of this solution—to help address the very real mental and emotional challenges bankers face here in Bamenda. My deepest thanks to life and performance coach Lanjo for making this possible.

To every banker in Bamenda: remember to take time for yourself. Make your mental and physical health a priority—not just for you, but for everyone who benefits from your energy and dedication.

We’re here for you. Let’s keep the conversation—and the care—going.
