As an artist, my work is rooted in the power of words, rhythm, and voice. But some stories are too big, too visceral, and too deeply emotional to be contained by audio alone.

Today, I am thrilled to announce a major milestone for my upcoming album, TOGHO. I am officially opening a call for Video Concept Submissions for BONKAR—a spoken word piece that serves as an anthem for Sickle Cell Warriors.

The Heart of BONKAR
BONKAR (meaning endurance or determination) is a raw, defiant, and deeply emotional piece. It speaks to the invisible battles fought by those living with Sickle Cell Disease, celebrating their courage, their identity, and the unbreakable human spirit. It is a story of resilience, community care, and the ultimate triumph of life.

I am looking for visionaries to translate this message into a visual masterpiece.

Open Call for Filmmakers & Visual Storytellers
I am officially inviting filmmakers, creative directors, cinematographers, visual artists, and storytellers to submit original video concepts for BONKAR.

We are looking for concepts that capture:

Human stories and real experiences
Resilience and hope
Community care and support
Sickle cell awareness and advocacy
Strength, healing, and life
What Your Submission Must Include:
To be considered, please submit a comprehensive concept package containing:

Concept Title
Concept Synopsis (The story you want to tell)
Visual Treatment (The scenes, style, and visual aesthetic)
Mood Board & References (Images or videos that inspire your vision)
Production Approach (How you plan to shoot and execute the concept)
Estimated Production Budget (A basic breakdown of costs)
Portfolio (Links to your previous work if available)
